What is Figures of Humanity?
This collection recollects some of the people that most influenced the history of humanity. For what they were, for what they did, or for what they represented, these pictures try to reinstate them amongst us and make them part of our daily lives.
We are aware that ones approach to these portraits may differ, that we will all identify with them on different levels. Some of us may think that it is important to gain knowledge of the legacy they left us and reflect on how much they were able to influence the course of history and shape our societies into what they are today.
Some may admire the example they have set and try to penetrate their spirits and understand what motivated them. We may find it inspiring to envision the entire history of humanity through some of its greatest protagonists and understand the chain of events that each of them provoked. Or we may simply find it useful to purchase an original object because of the sensation it will provoke in our homes and workplace and the impact it will have on those who visit.
In short, these pictures may be appreciated for their educational or symbolic value, for their aesthetic or artistic worth as well as for being a useful or original decorative piece.
