Drawings & Materials

The products available on this site are reproductions of caricatures of the great figures in World History and are accompanied by short biographies and citations from the individuals portrayed. The reproductions made on fine art paper, are available in two sizes: the drawings original size, 50x50cm (19,7x19,7"), and on a larger scale, 80x80cm (31,5x31,5"). They have been contemplated for wall pictures but are not framed.

Materials

The paper used is one of the best on the market. The Canon-Infinity Rag Photographique paper is made entirely of cotton fibres which are water resistant and do not have acid or bleaching agents. Canson designed this paper to meet the requirements for longevity demanded by museums and galleries.

The latest version of the Lucia pigment inks, developed for Canon photo printers, displays a high permanence and a broad spectrum of colours. In addition to the density and chromatic range offered by the 12 ink colour set up that combine the RGB model and CMYK process, the high range Canon Prograf photo printers bring together high-definition images due to their ultra-fine 4 picoliter ink droplet.

Based on the results of independent studies we are confident that the combination of paper, inks and the printer we use will ensure high quality printing and durability. According to the Wilhelm Imaging Research certification, if properly protected from pollution and UV radiation, these drawings may well last for over a century, in good condition.
